A real tearjerker
This is the sort of legit creative work we need to see more often. It was a very deep plot simultaneously full of and completely bereft of villainy. It's the sort of 3d stuff that's hoped for but too often never gotten.
Sure, production quality of a few of the scenes suffered, but the world that existed throughthe clockwork toys (and people) was mysterious and completely encompassed the world the movie threw at you. So props.
